Since joining Amey in 2015, James has provided strategic leadership to Amey’s Highways team, embedding strong management which Amey works. Client relationships are based on partnership, delivering the highest standards of service delivery and integrating innovation to transform safety, productivity and diversity.
Mark joined Highways England as Health, Safety and Wellbeing Director in April 2018 after nearly 20 years in the water industry. Prior to joining Highways England Mark was H&S Director at United Utilities based in the North West and was at Severn Trent Water before that in health and safety and operational management roles.
Ben Watson, joined 3M in 2012 to lead global research and development to commercialise intelligent transportation systems technology. Ben has since worked across multiple business groups and technology platforms, leading international teams in the development of digital solutions for transportation safety and industrial personal safety.
Transport for London
Glynn joined the Transport for London (TfL) Graduate scheme in 2001. In 2013 he became Head of Outcomes Delivery in Road Space Management. He was responsible for the performance of the road network, through intelligent control of all London’s traffic signals, and active management of key routes on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) by dedicated Corridor Managers.
Simon is the Chief Executive for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England CIC, leading the organisation to achieve its vision of normalising society’s attitudes and behaviours around mental health through training one in ten of the population in Mental Health First Aid skills. Simon has dedicated his career to working with young people, championing difference, and creating platforms for people’s voices to be heard.
WJ Group Sustainability Director, Chairman of the RSMA, Chair of the NHSS 7 Advisory Committee, BA (Hons), FIHE, PIEMA, HTMA Advocate, member of the LoCITY Waste and Construction Working Group. He has a passion for improving Air Quality standards, Innovation, Training and Work Related Road Safety, WJ Director responsible for CSR, Environment, Quality, Compliance.
Dawn joined Murphy Group in 2019. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Dawn holds a Master’s Degree in HR Management and a postgraduate qualification in employment law. Areas of expertise include diversity, wellbeing, reward, people development, and organisational change.
David Goldsby is the Technology Innovation Manager at Carnell whose core offering is providing specialist maintenance and support services in the UK’s highway infrastructure market. David is responsible for the development of a new technology innovation function in Carnell to enable their vision to deliver game changing innovations which deliver safer and more efficient solutions.
